
Pilot study of the 5-HT2AR agonist psilocybin in the treatment of tobacco addiction
Zusammenfassung
Open-label pilot study with 15 nicotine-dependent smokers. Psilocybin administered with cognitive behavioral therapy resulted in 80% smoking abstinence at 6-month follow-up, substantially exceeding typical rates for other pharmacotherapies.
