
Increased global integration in the brain after psilocybin therapy for depression
Abstract
This study found that psilocybin therapy for depression was associated with a lasting increase in global brain integration, measured by fMRI. The changes in brain network connectivity were correlated with clinical improvement and persisted at 3-week follow-up.
